UPS Driver Position

Hello to all. I've really enjoyed reading the threads on the forum, and all of the insight current UPS workers have provided. I'm hoping someone can help me with a few questions that I have.

Prior to my current position, I worked as a Kentucky State Police Trooper for several years. I made a career change about a year ago, as we were expecting our second child. I spoke with a local Driver yesterday for several minutes and it really made me think about going from a Gray uniform, to wearing a Brown uniform.

Would it increase my chances at snagging a career driver position off of the street due to my prior work experience? Or is there any insight that the UPS Vets can offer?
