What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Vanguard Car Rental USA?

Business casual. No socializing after hours. Company is located 12 miles outside of town and it is difficult to go to lunch or run errands during the day. Company is downsizing so employees have to assume duties of 2 or 3 employees. Few opportunities for community service. Most employees work there "just for the paycheck."

Honestly to me its a great working environment. During the time ive been with the company, they've had cookouts, Christmas party, Thanksgiving dinner.

Yes alot of people are there just for the paycheck, i was once told by a manager that you begin to love this kind of business and he is correct. May take a while for any real big promotion but i think in the end it will be worth it!

all in all, great people to work with(my area) like a second family. set schedules, fun at times.
