How to get a job at VeriSign.

Do you work at VeriSign? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?

Any advice for someone trying to get in?

I use to worked at Verisign in Lacey, WA., in a UNIX group. I would definitely NOT recommend working in that group at least for now until the current manager has been removed. He's now reporting to a new manager so hopefully for Verisign that person will see what's happening to this group. The group and that site has been without a storage administrator, (this position was within the UNIX group), since early January 2007. This vacancy was setup by the manager and there was never any backup person trained to fill it. Verisign will now have to pay more than double to bring in a contractor to do the job. The group also has no senior leadership because of the manager, several employees have left in the past couple of months and I understand more are on their way out. If you do want to work at Verisign in Lacey I would recommend trying to get a position within the Applications group.
