What is really going on Verizon Wireless?

Ok, I started my interview process in Alpharetta, GA in February of this year. I did the test and all of the phone interviews. I was scheduled for my last interview and the day before the interview, someone from HR called me to tell me that the Customer Service Position (call center) was put on hold until July. I was told that I will not have to start the process over and they will finish the process in July. So, last month I received an e-mail from HR out of the blue stating almost the same date. The only difference is that the e-mail states that the date for the upcoming class is still unknown. Ok, this week I received an e-mail thanking me for my interest and that they found other qualified candidates.
I was not personally waiting for Verizon to call me, I was actually seeking other employment & nothing was working for me! This would have been at least a pay check & some benefits. I will never applying at this company again, it sounds like budget cuts to me!
