I applied for a position as Customer Service Rep on November 6, and four days later have yet to receive any word (yea or nay) from Verizon. I'm starting to get worried that I may have screwed up the application somehow.

Is this normal? About how long can I expect to wait?

Completely normal - don't sweat it just yet. I didn't hear anything for nearly 2 weeks, then I interviewed twice in one day, and was offered a position almost 3 weeks after that.
