I just got hired as a device specialist with a Verizon retail store. Funny thing is I get an email saying I'm a customer support Rep. Is that just a fancy name for customer service Rep....??

Device Specialist is a developing/new position. Verizon converted all customer service personnel possible to sales a while ago. Device Specialist is basically a teaching job.

Yea you are right the store manager and assistants said they really dunno yet. Even the district doesn't know but he said within 6 months I will know. From a the little info I got it is a teaching job. Do u know the average starting salary for this position?
