I was blacklisted from verizon, does that ever go away?

So, about two years ago, I applied at a Verizon Wireless call center and I was offered the position and they proceeded to do a background check on me. I did not pass the background check bacause I fibbed on my application. As a result, I was told I would not be able to apply for a Verizon job ever again. I assume that means until they dump they're personal files. So, I was wondering if that ever goes away? I have my High School Diploma now and they have open positions again. I would love to apply, but I already made an ass out myself a couple years ago.
