Summer Field Technician in NYC

I'm just wondering if anyone has worked in this field and time, and how it is.

Do you really have to lift 100 Lb or more? Im 5'9" 185Lb.
It says 40 hours a week and Starting Salary $598.50. Meaning about $15/hr?
I'm a Junior in college with a year left. I major in Electrical Engineering Sience with a mediocre gpa of 2.6. Is there a chance for hire?
Also, what are the starting and end dates?
I need this job for pay and experience.
