What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does Veterans Affairs stack up against the competition? |

This facility is changing. You ask if it is going to survive and thrive? I'm just not sure. I have been there for quite some time, and I am concerned that it may not last until I can retire. I am within 9 years of retirement. They always need good people. But, they need people that will stay. Currently most jobs are given to veterans first. That is not always a plus. Most veterans, come from a program for drug or alchol abuse, and as soon as they get good money, they are in trouble. |

"Most Veterans" have more relatable skills through service, dont sweat the small issues, and work hard all day long at work. Most Veterans do not have drug and alcohol issues, I'm willing to bet they have less of a problem then the majority of the population. Don't want to share name in Sharpsburg, Maryland said: |
