I am a TIBCO Developer ,working as a permanent-full time employee. The good thing of this company is - I am not busy at all, most of the works are done by contractors. Sometimes I feel borred .... nothing to do at all, I wish I can play video game on my pc. Work environment is very laid back , my boss does not know what he is doing.

I'm am so glad that I am leaving this place very soon. Our office was the worst run I've ever seen! Our manager was inept in managing his staff and only worried about how much money he made.

Do you find this to be unique or isolated for your division, or do you think it is more than that? I have notice an overall difference in upper management trying to save their jobs as opposed to running the daily operations which make it easier for lower level workers to stay focused. I am not going to make a blanket statement, but if the layoff is leading to malaise from upper management, it will affect everyone else. I would like to hear more. Thanks for your info.
