Has anyone ever held/ or currently hold this position? If so what is the starting salary for this type of opportunity and is there room for advancement within the company? I have my telephone interview this morning and I am completely thrilled with the idea of working for Wachovia. In the future I would like to be a Branch Manager or Loan underwriter for this institution. If anyone has any input on the steps I should follow once hired by this company to achieve my goals, please don't hesitate to give feed back. Thanks in advance for the opportunity to seek guidance from you.

This is not the job description for this position. The teller manager is in charge of the teller line, scheduling lunches and breaks and weekend work, ensuring files transactions are properly processed, cash is orderd and shipped on time, approving weekly time card in the computer, plus being a teller.

I was seeking advice on the WDA telephone represenative position and this is the description that Wachovia gives for this position. As far as a Teller Manager I haven't began to look into this position yet. Thanks for the heads up!

I had my phone interview on Monday and the interviewer sounded as if she was having a bad day. She asked me questions about my previous jobs and when I answered, she said (with an attitude) that the question was pertaining to customer service. Well why didn't she specify that she wanted a call center experience. I spoke with someone else who told me I could reapply for the position but sent me an email saying that I wasn't picked to take the assesment. How can that be when I was picked the first time????

You were just a victim of things to come if you were hired. Try another bank if you want to get into that line of work. Wachovia is too big for themselves and management is no up to par right now.
