here is another reality. I spoke with another bank who eliminated me from contention as they saw my u5 and would not proceed with the interview process. If this is the trend, wachovia is in for a rough fight.
Mark, Any time someone is fired they are told not to speak with any bank employees. Its to eliminate the loss of existing customers and potential communication to existing employee as to what happened.
In this sitution, it is worse. Wachovia does not want word to get out and its too bad that it will. People now know why we were all fired and I am sure they will see some turnover from this, due to the way they treat their emplyees. I believe the leaders were told not to communicate to any of their FSs to avoid an investigation into the leaders in turn into the rbd's. I am more qualified and professional than any of these leaders. I am starting to blame myself for not even seeing this coming. Shame on me, but my focus is now on wachovias management and correcting the interpretation of my seperation from Wachovia.

I started a website at exwbemployees.com to pull all of this information together. You can read my mini bio there and what ultimately placed me in this situation (the ¨CROWN AFFAIR¨ if you ask me). My expectation today is to work extensively to bring order to the site and make each post revolving around information we need (names of lawyers, all the documentation we need, meeting locations, etc.) Let´s make sense out of all this. If you noticed, they had to look back to 2007 and not 2008 for this switching accounts thing. Now regarding non compete, thats a bit different. Non compete is when you the employee signs a contract stating that if you leave a particular firm, you can not take clients with you nor can you reach out to those clients and thats what non compete is. In this case, it was simply Wachovia trying to put salt in the wound.

FYI, it wasn't the "world savings thing" that put them in the hole. It was their own real estate loans and investments" World savings loans were profitable. They have been investing in money losing ventures for years.

I was initally fired on March 10 and was put on admin leave of 10 days. RBD terminated me on 21st by phone. They never contacted me for investigation. I am still waiting for my offical termination letter from HR.

I have a copy of WB’s “Lead with Crown..” training power point presentation that was distributed in one of the training classes. I am sure many Fs’s, who still are employed, may have copies of this presentation.

Id assume this is not going to be easy.

We need to make sure that we're heard. They are playing around with our lives. HR finally returned my call yesterday and said that they would correct my pay but didn't know exactly when it would be credited. Now it's been more than a week since they debited my account. What the H*** is going on with Wachovia?

We must be heard!! We cannot back down. And I'll bet our FSL's RBD's and everyone else up the chain are sleeping well at night..

All I have to say is what goes around comes around.

I have send copy of "Lead With Crown" training powerpoint presentation to exwbemployee. It is not in its entirety but has all important excerpts dealing with "Crown account" situation. He/She will post it at her/his blog soon in pdf format for everyone to draw from. Mdoctor what is yor email address, I can also send you this if you still desire.

I think it is time to reveal ourselves. How long are we going to hide behind our skirts? What is a hold out for? We all are fired for wrong reasons and if we have no courage then may be suffer for it.

Getting fired for what the company asked for cannot happen in good old America. This is a land of Braves. Where are names of RBDs, FSL and trainers; they just jumped entire 3 layers and fired the foot soldiers. What a way to go and they will get away with it. It seems that there are not many of us with strong will. I sense the energy is fading...! What is a correct # of fired employees. I do not think it is 600, if it's true then where are these folks. They do not know. Pick up the phone and call all wachovia in the area and act as a client looking for FS who helped you 15-20 days ago and see if she is fired and get her name somehow. We need a way to connect these guys.

HR is not co-operative in providing investigation report and employees fired information. Lets us go get WB..!

wow, dudes. that georgia thing is terrible. but if it helps, they are going around the country "cutting" expenses. several people in texas were fired for the same thing. however, i think the crown thing is just the start, here fsl's encourage fs's to deposit cd money into checking...let it validate...then move it to a cd. absolutely does not benefit the fs as 96 day validations are where it's at, but it does make the "uppers" look good. i am fairly new to wack, but was licensed for many years before coming here and understand the importance of keeping that securities record clean. only because i have been around the block and been taken before did i know that crap does not sound right when asked to do it. from what i see, they pull policy as an excuse to fire, but have you ever tried finding any policy/rules that say don't do it or how to do it correctly? as a newbie, you only know what you are taught. i think you guys/gals are upset because you simply misunderstood what management was saying when you got here. what they REALLY said was, do this to help me keep my job, or get fired....and if you get caught doing it, i will ignore you...and then you get fired! you see? just a simple miscommunication/misunderstanding. and you guys/gals were probably making too much money. please advise your friends/co-workers that are still there that the way to go is to not generate too much in commissions. of course, if the stock prices don't go up soon, those employees will soon face termination b/c of lack of production. so to sum it all up, goals are impossible to meet if you do it the "right" way. so just be a sub par performer and wait to get fired the good old fashioned way for not producing!
