No disrespect to those under 30, but I have found the opinion of those older have a little more factual detail and less emotion. Most of us over 30 realize that no job is perfect and it is what it is at the end of the day. With that said, does anyone have an older, wiser opinion of what it is like to work for Wachovia that is not an FS? What is the culture like?

That is actually kind of rude and not a good way to figure things out. You should be asking for people with a similar work history and background for answers. There are plenty of FSs over 30 who have no college degree and have sales experience only.. and not in banking. But someone who is 25 with a degree in Business Economics and an MBA plus 7 years of banking is not good enough or doesnt know enough. Right? Just like when customers come in and go straight to the male in a suit (who is new hire teller) instead of the young woman (who is the most capable person to help). |
