I was screwed over by world/wachovia in a different way. I was on medical leave when the merger was effective back in july of 07 and they (wachovia) conveniently had me on the computer system as "left voluntarily". My records for my medical leave were updated regarly with human resources dept. with World. I would definitely like to have an attorney represent me in this. It is very frustrating. I was with World savings for 14 years. It seems they just let me "fall thru the cracks" conveniently.

Does anyone know where the class action lawsuit against wachovia stands and when our u-5's will get expunged? I am reaching out to all of you that are part of the "CROWN" affair.

I was on medical leave when the merger took place back in july of 07 and they conveniently put me in the system as having left voluntarily like 2 weeks before the merger took place and half of my department was laid off. I never saw a dime of severance. after working for world savings for 14 years, this was disheartening. I opened a case with the equal employment opportunity commission last october (they say I was discriminated against). But nothing is really being done and/or it is taking way too long. Wachovia of course is blaming this on World and saying there is nothing they can do. It is rdiculous.
