I just got offered the FS position by Wachovia and am fully licensed. What fund companies and insurance companies am I able to write business with? |

If you are an FS in the branch you will only be able to sell the Evergreen family of funds and are limited to two or three annuity options. For anything else, you need to make a referral to your investment advisor who is assigned to your branch in the ISG business channel. You are extremely limited as an FS in doing investments. |

NewFS in Virginia said: drdoom - What insurance companies can you write business with? NewFS: I don't know which insurance companies they use now. It has been a few years since I was a branch FS. From my recollection, I had one fixed and one variable option available but I can't remember the companies. From what I have been told, Evergreen is still the only fund company that licensed FSs can sell. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Happy holidays! |
