so, the email came out last week about our updated pto info. i'm finding that people in different markets are finding it to mean different things: some say that we will benefit from it, b/c we will be getting MORE pto. An sts told me that her leader said that Wells is raising us to their schedule. i read it to mean that they are leaving us where we are (ie...i've been here for 7 years, get 4 weeks of pto and won't get more until i hit year 10) and in addition to that, we are losing 2 holidays, Columbus Day this year and MLK day beginning in 2010 when we are closed, but have to use a pto day to get paid. Is that in fact how it's working? or is my friend right? |

We will be getting more PTO because Family Care Time is a thing of the past. Employees without families will be benefiting from this change. |

Employees without families will be benefiting from this change. i called hr today. from what they said their understanding is that we will not be getting more pto until we hit our anniversary date in the year of the next tier. for example, i've been here for 7 years as of 4/15. i will get the next level of pto on 4/15/2012. until then, pto follows previous wachovia policy. |
