Wal Mart doesn't list what positions are open. They give you a list of all departments and you choose what departments you want to work in and IF there is a position open on one of the departments you selected then they may call you within a week for an interview. Of course that depends on whether you passed the test at the end of the application. If you did then the Personnel person will eventually look at it and decide if you're a good candidate (they DO check your background) and if you didn't pass then your application will never see human eyes.
