I was going for the assitant managers job at Walgreens. I applied on line and went for an interview. They told me to work at Walgreens for three months then go to the district and ask for the job. My store manager told me she would put a good word for me in there. Well, busting my A** there I realized that it was not happening. But talking to other people who had applied for instance one girl was not hired because they asked her where she wanted to be in five years and her reply was to own her own beauty place...well, she was not hired. They want you to say I would like to continue to work and go as far as I can with the company.
Other folks said they ask you the numbers of Walgreens such as, how much the store made in the past year. You must know something about the store.
Dont know if this helped but this is what I have heard through other workers who have applied for the job you are going for.
