After Interview Question..

I just had an interview for a teller position and they told me that I was the first interview they had, had and that the recruiter would contact me with a response/their decision. They said it probably will be two weeks or so.

Does that mean that I didn't get the position or is it just how the company works?

Don't read too much into the comment. The bank probably has many candidates to interview. The bank may need a couple of weeks to interview everyone and decide who to hire. It may need the time to reference-check candidates before going forward.

I hate being the first one to be interviewed. Not much you can do about it except hope that you did well and made a good impression. To that end, have you sent the interviewer(s) a thank-you letter(s)? If you haven't, you should! DO NOT followup thereafter.
