5yrteller in California 36 months ago |
Where should I start, I was a teller for WAMU for 5 yrs, in the beginning I was happy and I was proud to say I worked there, after several years and a change in management my branch started holding regular monthly meetings that due to daycare reasons I was having problems making arrangements to make it there. My manager told me to pay extra daycare fees, transfer branches or leave my job if I couldn't make it.I made the arrangements but then was unable to meet the outragious goals they set for their employees. Customers kept telling me in this economy they don't want something new to open,I was written up and 6 mos. later fired due to not meeting goals. When my manager fired me he did it at another banch with another manager I never met before and then told me if I wanted any personal belongings I had at my location he would mail it to me. I feel that WAMU is not a enjoyable place to work unless you like a lot of stress and crap to deal with. Now that I'm not there my stress level has calmed down and I'm a much happier person to be with. |
