From one wamu employee to another...?

Whats really going to happen come 12/1? whats in it for the branch folks in NY and NJ? I am in NJ and right next door to a chase branch...I can pretty much guess they will close us down eventually. This is going to be ugly no questions about it!! should I be sending my resume into the abyss right now??

I was told by an inside source that most,if not all, of the departments in Seattle will be gone. They will know for sure December 1st. Most of the branches will remain. Since you are in the NJ & NY area, you're in a much better position because new jobs will be created as a result of closing the departments in Seattle. Unless of course there is a JP Morgan Chase branch right across from your branch. Check out the job site @ JP Morgan. Lots of East coast jobs.
