Anthem was a "Great Place to Work", but Wellpoint would put every continental employee out of a job if it would add 15 cents to the stockholder's bottom line. 4 Billion dollars of profit and they will outsource every job to make 1% additional profit. The people they are getting rid of in Youngstown are the Anthem people who made the company profitable enough to merge with Wellpoint. Well point is making decisions for short term profit at the expense of people's livelihood and the future of this company. Read the story of Enron, replace the word Enron with Wellpoint and you'll see they are following Enron's plan for greed and financial ruin. See if the Wellpoint name has any credibility, or profit, in 5 years. |
