Wells Fargo/Wachovia Bank Personal Banker Hiring Process

I am wondering what to think here. I am currently in the process of interviewing for a Personal Banker position with Wells Fargo/Wachovia Bank. I had the phone interview on 10/5/10, then group interview on 10/12/10 and the one on one interview with the branch manager on 10/20/10. The one on one interview went well and the branch manager said that she would not be making a decision for a couple of weeks and I should expect to hear from the recruiter. After the interiew, I send a thank you letter to the manager (email and physical mail) and also used their favorite term "solution" in the interview and thank you letter.

On Friday, 11/12, I emailed the branch manager and recruiter to follow up and see if a decision has been made. Today, it is 11/18, and I still have not received a response from anyone. What is up here? Is this a good sign or a bad sign? Are they still in the process of deciding or just blowing me off? I was informed that they are looking at hiring 8 Personal Bankers as it is a large branch. I have not received any kind of letter that they went with another candidate or anything like that.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Please advise and thanks.

Same thing here!!!!! Was told I will hear Yay or Nay probaly by Monday and it has been three weeks!!!!!! Guess I forgot to ask Monday of what month or year
