What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does Wendys stack up against the competition? |

I just want to say that you need to beware when working for a franchise. I worked for the wendy's in Westfield, Ma and on Friday July 20th at 2pm in the afternoon without notice we were informed to lock our doors, clean and leave. All money was brought to the office. We were all told that there was no money to pay us because it was all put into frozen accounts and we needed to go and apply for unemployment. There were 13 wendy's in Western Mass that were closed that day all owed by the same guy. There was about 30 to 35 employees in each store which left about 390 to 455 people without a job and with out pay. This man who lives in Dublin, Oh is so far in debt that he can't afford to pay any of his employee's. How can a man who had thirteen stores and is an attorney leave so many people with familys and bills out in the cold. Does he have any kind of a heart and will we ever get paid. Thanks for listening
