I have know school graduates hired at school job fairs.
Otherwise, the best way to get that first interview at Western Digital is to have someone inside forward your resume to the hiring manager. Most of the managers are extremely busy and do not want to take the time to go through a bunch of blind resumes and interviews. So, they take the lazy (easy) way out and go with an internal recommendation.
If you know anyone who knows anyone who works at Western Digital, use that route.
Western Digital does not generally use recruiters. I haven't heard of anyone being pulled off of a job board like monster.
