What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does Wyeth stack up against the competition? |

Wyeth in Andover US is not much better. Went for a 6 month contract job, managers loved me because I was skilled in many areas. "Co-workers" were going to the boss and telling stories out of school. Got a telephone call on a Tuesday night a 6pm asking me not to come back. And I was told one of the complaints was I was not "professional" |

I worked for Wyeth for 4 years and loved it. Won 2 major sales awards, always tops in the district/region. Then they came to me one day and said, SORRY, your position is being eliminated. You can take this job we're going to guarantee you (700 miles away), take a severance, or post for any open position in the comany. If you don't have a position nailed down by Dec. 31, you will be considered a voluntary separation. We'll need your answer Monday. 6 monhs later they had a part-timer in there, and now they have a ful time rep back in the same position!!! You are only as valuable as someoe in Collegeville PA determines you to be. |

I applied there over a year ago. I went thru the entire interview process and was even told that the only thing left was the background check. I gave permission for it to be done. Then nothing. My background is clean. Only one speeding ticket ever. I found out that it is routine for them to have you go thru the entire process and then never call you or notify you that the position is no longer available. This most likely contributes to their trouble, Who wants to work for a company that doesn't even have the courtesy to let you know that you are no longer being considered for the position. Don't work there you'll regret it. |
