Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at Wyeth? Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers? What is a typical day in the life of an employee at Wyeth? |

Work as a scientist in research and development. Business casual dress, white lab coat and safety goggles. |

It all depends on what department you work in and who you to report. My experiences there were poor. I worked in the training arena. Aesthetics of yourself and the ability to kiss a lot of rump were more important than good work and working together. Lot of politics and a lot of ladder climbers willing to knock you out of their way, but be your friend the next day. |

It does depend on the department. I have worked at Wyeth for a year, and am well qualified with lots of pharm experience. My boss is great, but the administrative staff is very catty and cut throat in my department. They run to top management to try and knock you down if they feel threatened by your talents. I am probably the 6th person in the role and the most professional. The pay is not competitive and the people here gossip way too much. Otherwise, if you mind your P's & Q's at Wyeth, you can get by. They are also not very flexible with hours for administrative assistants which is unfair. Only managers get the flexibility to work from home, or work a 4 day week. And Admin Levels do NOT get bonus's like other companies I have worked for....that is disappointing. |
