What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable? How does Wyndham Vacation Ownership stack up against the competition? |

I am surprised that they have so far. Their company I believe has suspect selling practices with scripts and fake responses to lure people in and once the person signs on the dotted line they are done with you. NEXXXTTT! I could not take it and quit! To remain profitable they hire a bunch of former used car salesmen and little more |

Hmmm....I don't know any used car salesmen at our resort, however, I do know of at least 2 or 3 people with teaching degrees, several in management, one in nursing, one that was a pro football player.... and all are here because they make better money here than with their degrees. It is not the job for some people. Contrary to popular belief, it is not high pressure sales nor does the company condone lying.

Seems layoffs is the answer. Saw an article on wftv news about 200 layoffs (or terminations) in Orlando. Wednesday staff was escorted out of the building. It will be interesting to see the job postings on sites in the next weeks. How the company stacks up. they are the biggest pure timeshare, customer service is big, and they have strived for years on ethical sales principles - and have succeeded for the most part. |
