Every business has it's own style. What is the office environment and culture like at YRCI?

Are people dressed in business casual, jeans and t-shirts, or full-on suits? Do folks get together for Friday happy hours and friendly get-togethers?

What is a typical day in the life of an employee at YRCI?

YRCI lists their jobs as full-time employee, and you are a full-time employee -- of YRCI and not the firm you are working for, so I think they should classify their jobs as temp-to-hire. While they offer minimal benefits, there is no doubt, you are a temp. Contracts jobs are temps for largest of the big 4 accounting firms. I found this to be a road to nowhere.

YRCI's jobs are not usually temp-to-hire because most people on government contracts do not get hired by the government (although YRCI does handle both government and commercial contracts--temp-to-hire is more common on the commercial side). Many positions run for up to 5 years. Very short term projects ARE termed temp, but most are full-time employee.
