For AHIS IT, salaries are slightly below average for what you could get elsewhere. No travel requirements unless you are an executive, but unless you work for Dell there is no way you will be an executive in the IT department. There are no real bonuses - those were done away with when AHIS took over Seton IS. Annual raises are around 4%. Best perk is the healthcare coverage which is virtually free as long as you use Seton facilities.
This is a good place to work if you just want a steady job. This is a terrible place to work if you are looking for any sort of upward mobility, the chance to do new things or see yourself ever advanced beyond a manager or team lead. Dell runs all of the executive positions and Dell consultants are the only people in those positions.
