Do you work at Ford Motor? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview?

Over 30 years ago, you may have had a bad expereince at a Plant. It is nothing like that anymore.

For pure entertainment. It's hilarious reading all of the comments from the uninformed and disgruntle people out there. When you are on the outside looking in, you get a different perspective from those of us on the inside. Let's face it, it is not a perfect world that we live in. Every company has its faults. Ford is just beginning to turn teh corner to make a comeback.

no, I already interviewed last month and they asked me garbage questions, they r fool. unathic, they think they r the one who are right.

moreover, they changed the plan, that not to hire anyone in oakville plan.

does anyone know if they are hiring at the oakville plant in ontario? I would like to get more info regarding the interview and aptitude test. is it the mechanical ford test? or is it a piece of cake test?

Hi - I would really like a change in scenery. I'm getting sick of my job. I grew up in Avon Lake and am kicking myself for not trying to get in 20 years ago. Anyone work at Ford in Northern Ohio - I don't care which one, that can help me out?

A friend of mine was hired at Ford. I gave him my resume and I was hired 3 months after him. During my first interview, the hiring manager said that I had the qualifications and he just wanted to see if I would fit in with the rest of his employees. I have been working at Ford for over 17 years now.

hey i just wanted to know what college/university you attended and if you think Universal Technical Institute is a good school to get a job with ford?

Yes, I am still at Ford after 20 years. I graduated in 1978 with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. When I joined Ford in 1990, I went back to school and earned a Masters degree in Business Administration from Central Michaigan. About 75% of Ford engineers have their Masters or are working on them. Ford pays for you to further your education.

.. Just a thought, Do you think you didn't get hired do to Illiteracy? Or maybe that you cannot properly form a sentence? Simply put, they need competent people. MAYBE you didn't get hired because you couldn't assure them that you were?

All you can do is wait they will call you if they pick you I took my test in Jan 2012 and I started in April. Its a lot of people took the test but didnt get in.

The test wasnt to hard like basic math and reading they will send you a study book when they call u to take the test

I am also an LTS laid off in February, word I get over and over is June/July. Management at Flat Rock should be calling employees based on weeks worked as an LTS. More weeks= a call sooner
