UNIONS will have no problem getting into the Home Depot NOW. Unprofessional Mangers are going to be the downfall of the Home Depot. They are doing it to them selves.
Scheduling is used to gain control over the Employee.
Scheduling is done on a non standard basis to keep the Associate in a constant state of disruption.
In some stores associates are told they will get a raise after their 90 day review then the ASMs make the associate go three months telling them it will be in next weeks check. This is done to frustrate the associate.
At times you can put in for a day off weeks in advance whereby the incompetent scheduler will forget to give the day off requested then the ASM will make the associate switch off with a co-worker as opposed to fixing the error.
ASMs are lazy and do not work to help fellow employees. Asms and store managers are self-serving. They treat associates like dog crap and like Nardeli work to fill only their own pockets at the expense of all associates. Moral is a concept Home Depot lifers are oblivious to.
New Hires have trouble with the benifits web site. They put in for selected benifits to only find out weeks later that their medical plan choices are not as selected.
The computer system is DOS based prehistoric relic that is nearly non funtional.
Many Associates are constantly and coninually put in conflicting situations that require Home Depot rules to be broken to fulfill their jub duties.
Confilting rules are the norm. You may need to break one to fulfill an other.
