Technically it should. However, i am guessing due to thousands of resumes it might be possible that they are not screened properly. Again I am not sure the real reason |

JPS Detroit in Clarkston, Michigan 76 months ago |
I had some assistance here from a very helpful IBM employee here in the Detroit area. She gave me her my email and she said would get my resume to the right hands. about 3 weeks passed, I forgot all about it --she emailed me out of the blue -- "anyone contact you?" I replied the usual "no". Her final email stated something to the effect that IBM is a very chaotic organization and isnt suprised. They won low bid on a ton of General Motors work and I suspect are struggling to get their arms around it. My friend at EDS says IBM is trying to learn "how to dance" with GM and learning what EDS already knows. (By the way, EDS doesnt repond either -- ask me how I know :( ) |

lorraine harris-fox said: looking for a career with IBM. how can i send my resume to you? Although you may have some luck in that an employer from IBM see your post, I would suggest applying for a position with this company directly from our site. Next time you do a search on Indeed click on the job listing you are interested in. This will direct you to the website the job is originally posted on and there you will find instructions on how to apply. A side note, you can perform a search on our site by company by entering

Everyone, please use caution when sending personal information to strangers, or posting it on public forums! Consider what your resume contains before sending it anywhere! |

I have over 13 years of Lotus Notes, several years of IBM contracting experience. If you have access to IBM Contracts we should do business. I have excellent IBM references. Thank you in advance,

Note: Most of the openings in IBM Global Services require travel and does not matter where you are located |

HITENDRA said: Please provide your contact details and resume.. Are you a US Citizen ? Asking if a pre-hire is a citizen is NOT appropriate unless it is a REAL requirement for a specific position (e.g. certain federal government related roles) Asking if they can legally work in the country of hire is appropriate |
|
HITENDRA in Derby, Ohio 76 months ago |
Thanks..even H1Bs , L1s can legally work but IBM is currently not taking people with this work VISA...only green card / US citizen. I didn't think that it was unappropriate :-) |
|
HITENDRA in Derby, Ohio 76 months ago |
I dont want to use my work account for this. So using my personal gmail. account. Email me only if you trust :-)

I need help getting a job with IBM. I am located between Cleveland, OH and Pittsburgh, PA. I have worked for both and IBM distributor and an IBM Business Partner for the last 5 years in the software group, however I do also have hardware knowledge. HELP! It has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid to work for IBM. |
|
HITENDRA in Moravian Falls, North Carolina 76 months ago |
Hi, It depends what are your current skills & experience level. Also, the other requirement for most of the jobs in IBM is that you should be willing to travel 80%, legally authorized to work [no H1Bs] at this time.
Thanks

JimBob in San Diego, California 76 months ago |
Are you kidding? Why would your employer not want you to use your company email address while you are claiming to represent them? I think you are really in Bangalore, not North Carolina. Just another Indian recruiter who adds no value to the process. meh. |

CONSULTANT in Charlotte, North Carolina 76 months ago |
All, I've sent my resume to Hitendra and he forwarded it to IBM. IBM responded back to me saying that they can not hire me as I am curently employed with one of their partner companies. Also, I trust this guy. After I sent my resume I did get an e-mail from one of his associates who has a ibm email id. Yes, by name he seems to be of Indian origin. |
|
Aaron in Youngstown, Ohio 76 months ago |
I believe the IP address is assigned by location. Anyhow, Hitendra has helped me also and is ligit. "CONSULTANT" what kind of partner company? Is it just an IBM Business Partner? |
