Does Microsoft profit share??? If not how do they compensate their employees?

No profit sharing. Compensation comes in bonuses and stock grants. Stock grants are vested 20% per year over 5 years. For example, you get 100 stock grants come review time, you can sell 20 of those after a year, 20 more after another, etc.

You can get up to 20% cash bonus (based on past performance) and variable amount of stock grant (future potential, ie "The Golden Leash").
