The problem was I suspect but can't prove that the Qualcomm division was heavily H1B infested that Americans were prerejected from employment. A LOT of Qualcomm is totally H1B infested and if that is the case you won't be getting the job.
Of course, you have to assume that you are a real candidate. One warning sign will be that if the interview consists of heavy Indian accents then while you should be giving the best interview you can, the reality is that you won't get the job.
The technical interview is most likely (guessing here!) going to be emphasizing C ( know your pointers well!) and embedded programming (maybe a couple of questions on assembler)
