I have recently applied to RJ Reynolds and will be following up with a couple of interviews that they have requested. I currently work a district manager with one of the companies that RJ Reynolds works with, that is how I found out about an open position. My question is, what kind of background check do they have problems with? Back in college myself and 3 fraternity brothers were issued theft tickets for taking a sign from another fraternities yard. It was not a big deal, only a misdemeanor ticket, but it still shows on my record sometimes. Therefor I have tried to get rid of this showing up but in many instances it still shows up. The company that I work for now has not had a problem with it and I handle thousands of dollars a week, and they know about it, but I was wondering if I will be immediately disqualified or whatever and I don't really want to waste my time or anyone elses.
