Do you work at T-Mobile? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Any advice for someone trying to get in? |

Felix Arroyo said: Hello, I'am trying to pursue a new career and I would love to work for the T-Mobile company. Please email me at ricannino@yahoo.com or call my cell phone at 617-593-9513. Thank you and have a great day. It depends on what you want to do. The bes way to get inside the door of IT (COS) is to work at t-mobile as a contractor. They seem to hire on contractors as t-mobile employees as the requisitions come in. |

make sure you want to work in T-mobile or Mobile Technologies which are changing very fast, as you may not get back a interview call in right time. |

How long have you worked for T-Mobile and what is you position? Good or bad company to work for? Anything you could share would be great. Thanks |

Their health benefits are the best. I only paid 40 a month for me and my son. which included regular health(doctors vistits) dental and vision. If I wanted to see a specialist I did not need to get a referal I just had to pay 20 co-pay instead of 10 at my regular doctors. There were different scales for dental and vision. I have worked there for 13 mos. I was a a rep on the phones. Which is very stressful. You are always pushed for better scores for the calls you take. You get three scores from National Quality and 8 scores from your Coach in your pod. which range from 0 -5 with an expectation of a 3.25 average. There are a lot of benefits whith them if you do well but you have to be in the top percentage to aquire all of these. free phones if they have contests or different motivators to get you to do your best which means they do better as well. Employee discount on the phone services per month. and quarterly bonuses. |

Host said: Do you work at T-Mobile? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? Let me just tell you about TMO- because its a growing company, there are a lot of growing pains.. I worked as a contractor for over a year and never found permanent employment. They treat their contractors like crap... but eventually if you put in the time you can get hired on, just don't expect it to be too quick... as of late the CEO wants to rid the company of contractors... to put more work on the employees... this does not mean the head count will increase. I met great people there, but the company itself has a lot to work on. They want contractors to be loyal, yet after a year.. why should I be loyal when they weren't loyal to me? |

Does T-Mobile offer DP benefits? Can't find the info on their site, which makes me think no. T-Mobile would be a good fit (both ways), I think, but I can't see myself accepting a job at another company where my family can't get benefits. |

@Maenad - Yes, T-Mo does offer DP benefits. |

Interesting place to work with some fairly weird people, though not atypical of the modern workplace. Most of the contractors I saw there outperformed employees, yet I am not aware of even one who got hired. Quite the contrary, I left after 14 months because they wanted to convert me from contractor to an employee of some BS company back east to give the illusion they weren't engaging in the contractor fraud that the state quietly winks at anyway. If they want to make you an employee, they will do so whimsically. Nothing you do or don't do will affect that. In my experience, performance has nothing whatsoever to do with that decision or the timing of it. |

I am a contractor with T-Mobile and love it. You were hired as a contractor not an employee, no loyalty is needed, that's why they call it 'contracting'. This is a business they don't owe you anything. Be grateful for the work, experience and pay they provided you. |

I just got hired as an IT Project Manager at the T-Mobile Belleuve, WA office. I have not accepted the position yet, because people telling me its not the greatest place to work. Stress, layoffs, overtime, etc. What do you think? |

I just got a job offer at the Meridian, Idaho call center as a customer service rep. It was pretty easy to get on there. Although, I did have a advantage. I have over 8 years call center experience. I got right past the phone interview, and they saw my experience, and had me in for the interview with a coach (Team Manager). Sounds like an awesome opportunity, unfortunately I am going from a $15/hour rate to a $13/hour rate.
Medical Benefits Overview
Domestic partner deductions are taken on a post-tax basis, and employee pays tax on the employer portion of the contribution.

If you don't like chit-chatting with people. This job is not for you! Fill your "dead air" with "How are you today?" and provide fake empathy to a customer "Oh my, I would be upset too if my bill were that high" or "I know exactly how you feel" when you really don't. Working for T-Mobile is a numbers game after training. In training they don't teach anything about the above just how to access and get through the systems. |

Just BS you're way thru the interview about what a people person you are. If you get it, be prepared for filling anti-depressant prescriptions. I had 2 anxiety attacks there, watched people hauled off on stretchers from heart attacks on the job, helped a woman who had a panic attack, and had a supervisor overdose. Good luck. |

You must be at least 18 years of age to work for T-Mobile directly unless your state of maturity is different, for example Nebraska is 19 years of age. Check with your local government about your state's age of maturity, then if you meet that requirement feel free to check us out at www.t-mobile.com/jobs, and apply. Best of luck to you! |

I too would like to know how/who you can contact or the hiring manager for a store or district manager position. There are jobs available on their site. I have developed a profile, uploaded a resume, and applied for 2 of those open positions. This was on 3/17 and I have not heard a thing and don't know who to contact to follow up on my submissions for their "open" job positions. Please help and Thank you!

Host said: Do you work at T-Mobile? How did you find the job? How did you get that first interview? I worked for t-mobile in Frisco, TX. My advice to you is to not pursue it unless you have a strong IT background. They hired me to do basic troubleshooting then because of a "shift" in their new strategy had me taking calls for which I was not prepared, with 2 weeks of training. |

Curious, do they really want this woman to represent them? Check out Carly Foulkes pics. She is not exactly the pure innocent girl they would have you believe. |

Betty-San Diego, in Santee, California said: Paul, I agree with you and feel your pain. Now, for anyone who is interested in T-Mobile let me invite you to check out job offerings online, they are there. I have to ask this: Why would a company that promises to promote from within be hiring for Managers, Coaches, and Tech Support off the street? A Hint....I heard from those that know that they were going to do just that...they call it street to seat. Basically, shake em up and see if they make it. |
