I am interested in the Provider Phone Rep. position and wondered if anyone can give
me some information about it. I completed onsite and online assessments and waiting to hear back from UHG. Is it very stressful, any room for advancement, and are the metrics tough to meet? I have a few years call center background with another insurer and just wanted a realistic preview of this job. Thanks in advance for any help!

I worked in Minneapolis area as a rep and the metrics are not too bad if you know the job well. They can at times nit pick at scores. Advancement is fairly easy within the call center area but to get out of that area it's tough. You also cannot move around for 12months no matter what the position.
