I am a final year film student and want to become an art director for and advertising company. Should i go and study something in the field of advertising or gain personal experience first somewhere with the degree I have?

hey inge
what exactly is it that you want to do? there are different jobs in advertising, you need to know what exactly it is that you want to to.
you can do marketing, copy writing, design or art direction.
either way you will need to study to get a job in an advertising agency
