Thank you for your information. I am very interested in your CRA job order in Peru and would be excellent in talking to you.

First, I give some personal information. I was trained in medicine, then I got a job at medical clinic (preventive medicine) and I have been working there for two years. Also, I have taken a course at NIH Clinical Center about clinical research for five months (twice a week) and I loved it.

Please, tell me if your CRA job order in Peru requires previous experience, because I do not have it.

Hello,
Currently I’m a clinical lab technician and I work for Labcorp in California. I’ve been working for this company doing clinical assays and working with the QA department making sure GLP/GCP guidelines are followed.
I’ll be moving to Peru in less than a month and I’m very interested in working as a CRA down there. Anyone know of a company which has any openings for an entry level CRA? I applied to PPD and ICON but with no luck so far.

I'm a physician graduated from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. I have a post graduate diploma in Clinical and Pharmaceutical Research (Buenos Aires - Argentina), a Master in Clinical Research (Buenos Aires - Argentina), and 3 years of experience in Clinical Trials (as Sub Investigator, CRA and trial Coordinator). And when I read the comments above, I see that it is easy to work abroad, people are searching for a new job abroad, others offering.... However I always assumed that it was difficult to pass the formalities and get the approval for VISA to work. I will be pleased if you comment on this issue? Everything can be done so easily? Lrva,

As a physician, you are overqualified to be a CRA and it will be a huge paycut for you. Typically, a CRA's background usually contains nursing experience and a bachelors degree or RN is all that you need to get CRA position.

Instead, you should try for principal investigator, medical science liason, medical monitor or medical writer positions. CRA work would not be applicable to your skills.
