What is the best training for becoming a hirable property manager? What types of ongoing training or certifications are necessary to be an effective property manager?

What do non-traditional career paths look like?

Take courses that relate to the position, how about mold related or a maintenance course, or contracting course, and so on

Mold class [three levels]
EPA certified HVAC [ Universal, Type 1, 2, 3, A410 and MVAC 609]
General Maintenance concepts [ what it is all about]
Preventive maintenance [ understanding maintenance, types and results]
www.condospecialties.com
they can certify you in the above
costs are nominal
training is one on one so it is a more expensive
cost increases if they come to you
but will come to your place of employment to train one or more
persons

Can you email me or posts the costs? Since I am not working I would be interested in attending in your location. Also will have to consider the cost because I am "Unemployed Property Manager". Thank you

The National Apartment Association offers certification courses such as CPM - Certified Property Manager or ARM - Accredited Residential Manager.... IREM (the Institute of Real Estate Management) also offers courses www.irem.org _ I have also found that ceriatn cities have Technical colleges that offer an associates degree in Property Management as well... However, I have found that simply mass mailing resumes to local communities and management companies can be best accomplished by looking them up on sites such as apartments.com and clicking on each property's management company link to get contact info...
