A lot of these ranch hand jobs don't offer a large amount of money, but many offer full or partical room and board plus utilities and work vehicle which makes it reasonable. If you are required to ride a horse make sure you have a good horse and can see well. Many times you will be covering some rough ground and gopher, praire dog wholes can be a killer. Also consider your proximatey to a town large enough to have grocery stores, it is tough driving 80-100 miles every week to find reasonablly priced groceries or be prepared to buy alot of groceries at at time!. Also most of these ranch people are very hard working, honest, and super nice people, but expect you to work alot of hours.
