Hello all,
I have an M.S. in biomedical engineering and have worked 2.5 years in orthopedic implant research. I have recently decided to make a career change and I would like to work in regulatory affairs.
How can I train/educate myself for a career in this field?
I found a training course and some certification exams from raps.org. Is it worth investing the money into these certifications? Do companies consider this valuable, or do they only care about work experience?
There is also a certification program offered by TÜV in Germany (where I currently live), but I'm wondering if this certification would be recognized in other countries?
Are there any other certifications or programs you could recommend above these two options?
Do you have any other recommendations for getting my foot in the door at a company? Unfortunately my endeavors have been quite unsuccessful so far.
