I worked as a teachers assistant in yonkers ny but i did not need certification i moved to PA and i want to know what do i need to do.

I am extremely confused. I want to just have my associated degree in early childhood education. I want to have it for the state of New Jersey, do i have to take any tests, or exams to just be an assistant teacher?
