I'm will graduate with my Master's of Accounting soon. I currently work as a student for the internal audit department of my University. I've heard that a surpising number of firms are doing internal audit rotation programs where they hire potential managers from within before promoting them to management. www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvfKbbAHssk These employees have no audit experience or education. I see some benefits of this, but what does that mean for us auditors that want to have a career in internal auditing? Has anyone else heard of this? |
