The two aspects of the job are the project management and the people management. With the project management, I like the ability to plan and then do. See the project completed. The people management (politics) is where you work with people to move them from where they are to where you need them to be. All of this the people and the projects must be aligned in the general direction of achieving the companys' corporate objective. This is powerful when you can coral people around an activity (project) and yield results.
