How did you get your start doing loss prevention manager work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

I started with a job in security, Joined the Army as a Recon Scout, Law Enforcement Training for investigative techniques. Maybe education wise education in ADmin of Justice will help you.

i'm at the district manager level now, took about 10 years to get to this level.
i got my start as an entry level agent at k-mart. and just kept moving around as i started making more contacts in the industry. the key thing to remember is that every operation is different. an agent with a wide set of skills and experiences is vastly more valuble to an company than an agent with limited experience.
i'd say start at the bottom and work your way up. just follow the 5 steps and watch out for bad stops.
