I have the same exact thing...it's been this way for almost 4 months...I've heard that it could take up to 6 months before you're offered actual employment. There's no use in calling to ask any questions...the TSA is very tight lipped about whether or not you're in line to be called. All you can do is wait it out...it sucks...but what other choices do we have other than looking for another job that does'nt take a lifetime. Sorry to rain on your parade, but everything that I've said is true. Good luck though.....you might be one of the lucky ones if time does'nt run out. I'm waiting to work at LAX.....hope I get a call soon. |

I've been wating for 4 months in the ready pool....I have a star over the e-orientation as well for LAX....I hope and pray that I'm in line for a position. The hiring process is no easy feat. Good luck to everyone else who may be in the same boat. :) |

Just got a start over my eOrientaion, I called them and all they said was that I have to wait after I receive a call from them to offer me the job, like the first person said, all we have to do is wait. Good luck to me and everyone else, it's a long process but worth waiting for I hope. |

The the blue star for eOrientation for GSP about a week ago. Hopefully it won't take too long, but I am being realistic. |

I have been the background ched fo so long that my signature pages and e86 forms expired and I had to update all relating to the medical and background checks. Finally I passed the background and have a check over Ready Pool and star over eOrientation. I made a vist to my local TSA office were I took the AA and did get alot more information about the status of the airports that I applied for. I won't be calling the Help Desk at this point, I'll call the local TSA office.

mychal24- It is the same location where the airport assessment is conducted. You will need to make a personal visit and talk with the Human Resource Specialist regarding the local airport status. |
