type in "Highland Park High School" in wikipedia, and you'll see that it was ranked 14th best high school in the nation. Newsweek ranked it 11th best a few years ago. Aside from academics, Sports Illustrated ranked it 18th best sports program in the country, and myriad other extracurricular programs are ranked among the top in the country every year.

Look at Richardson ISD, west of Central (US75) - reasonable home prices, good schools, stable neighborhoods north of Belt Line Road.

if you can afford to buy in Highland Park, you can afford private schools. Housing prices off the charts.
