There's tons of jobs in the O&G industry that aren't engineering/technical related. I don't have an engineering background but in Houston this industry is so stable.
I mean how in the world do you break into it? Even just being an admin? Everything is 5+ years just to get $10 an hour at the front desk.
Talent acquisition, admin, something office/desk related to where if need be you have options. They are building Exxon in The Woodlands so besides the rig people, engineers and everything technical they need the office people to keep the ground running.
